So… I recently realized that although my whole house has been decorated for fall, my entryway was only half decorated. I never quite got around to finishing the opposite side of this space…
Until last weekend, that is. I just couldn’t handle it anymore. I was feeling inspired, so I went to work bringing a bit of fall to this tiny area.
It didn’t take much; a doughbowl full of baby boo pumpkins, a basket full of pillows, the DIY fabric covered antler mount I made a couple of weeks ago, and some vintage accessories from the shop.
To blend the two sides of the entryway together, I kept the palette neutral and natural.
I’m always surprised at what a few well-placed accessories can do to change the look and feel of a space. I love the cozy softness pillows and throws add to this room.
And the warmth and character of vintage finds.
Simple fall updates – they’ve made such a difference in this room! And I couldn’t be happier to finally have the entire entryway fall-i-fied (I’m pretty sure that’s a real word).
What do you think of this simple fall update? Do you use neutral colors and natural elements in your decorating? How about vintage items? I would love to hear what you think about this space! You can connect with me here:
